Citrus-Herb Grilled Chicken with Honey Butter Glaze

Citrus-Herb Grilled Chicken with Honey Butter Glaze

Juicy, buttery, and kissed with bright Florida flavor, this Citrus-Herb Grilled Chicken recipe is simple enough for a Sunday cookout but elegant enough to steal the show at any Mother’s Day table. Featuring a glaze made with **honey, orange juice, and thyme**, and seasoned with our signature All Purp or if you want more of a kick Sunburn.

No fancy equipment needed — this recipe works beautifully on your grill, smoker, or stovetop grill pan. Just make sure to baste that glaze at the end to create that golden, caramelized finish that tastes like summer on a plate.

Pro tip: Don’t skimp on the resting time — it lets all those buttery juices lock in for maximum tenderness and flavor. Serve it up with grilled asparagus, a glass of wine, and good company. You just made Mother’s Day legendary.

Yields: 4 Servings | Prep Time: 10 Minutes | Total Time: 35 Minutes

INGREDIENTS:

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 tbsp All Purp or Sunburn
1 tbsp olive oil
½ tsp sea salt
¼ cup fresh orange juice
¼ cup honey
2 tbsp unsalted butter
1 tsp chopped fresh rosemary

🔥 PROCESS:

1 | Preheat your grill to medium heat (about 375°F).

2 | Pat chicken dry. Rub with olive oil and season generously with your chosen TFG rub and sea salt.

3 | Grill chicken for 4–5 minutes per side, until cooked through and internal temperature hits 165°F. (less than 15–18 minutes total).

4 | Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, combine orange juice, honey, and butter. Simmer over low heat until slightly thickened (about 5 minutes). Add Rosemary.

5 | Brush glaze over the chicken during the final 3–5 minutes of grilling. Let it caramelize slightly, but don’t burn.

6 | Remove from heat, rest for 5 minutes, and serve hot with extra glaze drizzled on top. Decorate with a small piece of Rosemary.

💡 Pro Tips:

  • Use a grill pan if you’re cooking indoors.
  • Pair with: Grilled asparagus, herb-roasted potatoes, or a fresh garden salad.
  • Leftovers? Dice it into a citrusy chicken salad or wrap it in lettuce cups.

🌶️ Rub Spotlight:

🌞 All Purp – Bright, citrusy, and perfect for light proteins.
🔥 Sunburn – Adds a touch of smoky heat with sweet orange notes.
